Kitchen tile (in the melody of stained concrete)

Since the stain (i.e. paint) was a major failure, and most contractors wanted aprox. $1500 minimum for any stained concrete job, we put it off for a future home hopefully far from Texas. In the mean time we found some gray tile that had a "stained" look from L.M. Tile ("Miles of Tile!") for a mere fraction of the cost (aprox $1.79/sq ft). With some major help and 2 weeks later, 250 sq ft of tile is laid and grouted. Hopefully all that is left is the cleaning with the acid salt.
